Enhance Your Health with Immune Wellness Yoga

Some of today’s major health issues like Lyme Disease, Covid, cancer, and stress can seriously impact our immune system and make it even more challenging to “feel better” again. This yoga workshop was created to help participants move forward on their healing journey.

 

Immune Wellness Yoga is designed to enhance healing and provide a sense of wellness by focusing on key functions of our immune system. It incorporates specific sequences, poses, and breathing techniques to stimulate lymph flow, regulate digestion, decrease inflammation, balance stress hormones, and related areas. It includes options and modifications to make it available to all participants regardless of prior yoga experience.

The workshop incorporates both educational and experiential learning opportunities including:

  • Primer on Immune System Health and Wellness
  • Overview: The Science of Yoga 
  • Putting It All Together: Improving Immune System Health with Yoga 
  • Let’s Get Moving: Immune Wellness Yoga Class 
  • Bringing It Home: tips & techniques to take it with you “beyond the studio”

 

Who might find this helpful?

People recovering & healing from illnesses that impact the immune system such as Lyme Disease, Covid, cancer, stress and related issues - as well as family, friends, and caregivers to help support themselves while they support their loved ones.
