SATURDAYS, MAY 7, 14, 21  1:30-3:30PM $65/SERIES

Join Lee  for a clear, mindful (re)introduction to yoga with building blocks to (re)start your practice. This is a perfectly paced program that offers a foundational experience of many basic yoga postures, or asanas.  A detailed understanding of the architecture of the poses will help you build and modify a posture as needed in order to experience the fine balance between effort and ease that yoga has to offer. Yoga philosophy, breath work, movement and relaxation will be incorporated into every class.


Week 1- Yoga: what, why, how?

  • Primary movements of hips, shoulders and spine. 
  • Building the fundamental postures
  • Connecting to breath

Week 2- Practice: inquiry, refinement, growth

  • Balance and transition
  • Proprioception and interoception
  • Intelligent action in yoga postures

Week 3- Flow: ground below, sky above, breath within

  • Steady, comfortable and inspired
  • Feeling the way into "alignment" in asana
  • Connecting and integrating the whole
